There is a troubling story out of Regina.

A 47 year-old homeless man from Pasqua First Nation drowned as bystanders reportedly refused to call 911.

The man was swimming in a lake when he started to have trouble.

A friend on shore pleaded with bystanders to call 911.

It took him 30 minutes before he could find someone who would call the police.

Officers arrived in two minutes, but they were too late.

The woman who called 911 says she is shocked that nobody else would help.
