Dene battle territorial govt’s power grap

Dene leaders from across the Northwest Territories are meeting this week to raise concerns over the territorial government’s controversial devolution agreement with Ottawa.

The deal would give the territory province-like powers over land and resources.

Not everyone is convinced that the agreement is in the best interest of the people that live there.
