Jones murder probe leads to Washington State

The RCMP investigation into the murder of a teenager from Cowichan First Nation has lead to Washington State.

Tyeshia Jones’ body was found in a wooded area last month on the Cowichan Tribe’s land.

The RCMP are trying to obtain the phone records of a man named David Tommy who now lives in Spokane, Wash. Jones sent him photos days before she was murdered.
