It has been 15 years since Dudley George was shot and killed by the Ontario Provincial Police.

George, along with 30 other protestors, built a barricade at Ipperwash provincial park in Ontario back in September 1995.

Over the weekend dozens of people from kettle and Stony Point First Nations gathered to commemorate the historical event.

APTN National News reporter Wayne Roberts was there.
